BETWEEN DOG AND WOLF

25 NOVEMBER - 22 DECEMBER, 2022

Paintings, sculptures, talismans and rituals by seven contemporary female artists explore interpretations of metamorphosis within the realm of magic and art. The exhibition tells stories of mythology, psychology, tarot, witchcraft and fairy tales through paintings, tarot - dioramas, spells, rituals, talismanic objects, and more.

A common phrase in French [entre chien et loup] to describe twilight —in English, the magic or witching hour, ‘between dog and wolf’ may be considered a liminal passage of time and space. A metaphorical crossover from the domesticated to the wild, this moment opens up opportunity for transformation and re-connection to one’s animal self.
